Deputies Arrest One Of Laurel County's Most Wanted Fugitives

One of the Laurel County Sheriff's Office most wanted fugitives is back in jail.
The Laurel County Sheriff's Office says one its most wanted fugitives is back in jail.

Investigators say 27-year-old Ryan Segraves was arrested at a house around 5:30pm Friday.

Deputies say Segraves was on the run after escaping twice from deputies.

Investigators say on July 23rd, Segraves was in the back of a Constable's police cruiser when he cut off his handcuffs and ran off.

The Sheriff's Office says a deputy spotted Segraves a few days later on Brown Road off KY 638.

Investigators say Segraves led the deputy on a short chase, ran into a relative's house and went out the back door into some woods.

Segraves was then added to the list of the Sheriff's Office most wanted fugitives.

Segraves is now in custody facing several charges including Wanton Endangerment,2nd Degree, Escape and Fleeing And Evading Police.
