Deputies: Counterfeit Money Used To Buy Rottweilers In Laurel Co.

They're investigating a complaint involving a man who bought three Rottweiler dogs he found online for $2,100. The seller told police he agreed to meet the man in a parking late Monday night to make the exchange.

Afterwards, the man who sold the dogs realized the $50 and $20 bills he was given were fake.

The man who bought the dogs is described as a white male in his mid-20s, roughly six feet tall. He was last seen driving an older model green Jeep Grand Cherokee.

The bills used included 50s carrying the serial numbers JD22562500A and JD44089303A and 20s with the serial numbers JD93627916C and JD31750773D.
