A 14-year-old mentally challenged girl is pregnant by her relative's live-in boyfriend, according to the Laurel County Sheriff.

Police said Joyce Blanton, 35, and Franklin Brown, 45, were arrested after investigators say they found out the girl was pregnant with Brown's child. Police said Brown was Blanton's boyfriend. The sheriff's office would not confirm the relationship between the young girl and Blanton. Investigators said Blanton found out the girl was pregnant months ago and planned on pretending the baby was hers after it was born.

Police said the girl is 7 1/2 months along, and was only 13-years-old when she got pregnant.
