Deputies in Laurel County said an early morning traffic stop on Friday wound up in two meth-related arrests.

They said they noticed a car driving erratically along Old Richmond Road, and when they pulled the car over, they said the driver, 25-year-old Brittany Grubb, was under the influence.

She reportedly told officers she had taken suboxin some time earlier.

Deputies searched the car and found six baggies of what they suspected was crystal meth.

Grubb and her passenger, 20-year-old Nathan Jones, were both arrested and charged with possessing and trafficking methamphetamine.

They were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Facility.
