Laurel Co. Picks Interim Superintendent

Laurel County has chosen Ronald "Sonny" Fentress as its new interim superintendent.

According to the school system's website, the Board of Education decision came Tuesday. Fentress is the former Anderson County superintendent, and has spent 42 years involved in education.

Fentress has also served as an interim superintendent in Floyd County, Washington County, Mercer County, Eminence Independent, and Pendleton County.
