Lane Closures Scheduled For Interstate 75 In Madison County

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, announces that temporary single lane closures are scheduled for Interstate 75 in Madison County. 
The closures are necessary for milling and paving work to be completed.

Work will begin this week:

 

  • Tuesday, June 11 – work begins and will continue through Friday, June 14.

Hours of work will be 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day.

 

  • Monday, June 17 – work will continue Monday through Friday of each week until the project is deemed complete.  Hours of work will be 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. daily.

SOUTHBOUND

Exit 97 - on ramp only (work will begin at this location)

Exit 95 - off ramp & on ramp

Exit 87 - off ramp & on ramp

NORTHBOUND

Exit 87 - off ramp & on ramp

Exit 90 - off ramp

Exit 95 - off ramp & on ramp

Exit 97 - off ramp

The right (slow) lanes for the intersections (varied locations) of the on/off ramps for the interstate will be closed during the hours of work.  The on/off ramps will not close.

Appropriate signage will be in place to alert and guide the traveling public.

All scheduled work is subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet asks the traveling public to be aware of the work zone and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling near the area.
