The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, announces that a temporary lane closure is scheduled for the bridge on the Bluegrass Parkway between Anderson and Woodford Counties.  The closure is necessary for corrective (reseal) work to be completed.

Work will be performed:

·         Thursday, March 14 – 8:00 a.m. through Friday, March 15 at 12:00 p.m. (noon)

The location for the westbound left (fast) lane closure on the bridge will be between mile point 61.792 and mile point 61.947.

Appropriate signage and traffic control devices will be in place to guide the traveling public.

All scheduled work is subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet asks motorists to be aware of the work zone and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
