Knott County voters said no to alcohol sales on Tuesday.
In a wet-dry vote, "dry" forces won with 2,379 votes. The "wet" vote was 1,590. It was a split of roughly 60-to-40%. If the wet forces had won, it would have opened the door to alcohol sales throughout the county.
