Kentucky Theater Closes Out 35mm Films

The historic theater is switching to digital projections next week.
     The Kentucky Theater showed their last 35 millimeter film Sunday night.

     The historic theater is switching to digital projections next week.

     The theater has been using the same film projectors since the mid 1950's.

     Theater manager Fred Mills says they will be closed Monday through Thursday while the new digital equipment is installed.

     Mills says the plan is to reopen on Friday.
