Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky says we’re in the middle of a weak economic recovery and he blames President Obama.

McConnell appeared on CNN this morning.

“It is terrible,” McConnell said. “We have 41 straight months now of unemployment about 8%. 41 straight months. Candy, this is the most tepid recovery – if it is a recovery – from a deep recession in American history.”

McConnell said the President’s Health Care Reform Law and regulation of business are contributing to the slow recovery.
