After two days, University of Kentucky is beating Tennessee in the Big Blue Crush blood drive.

But it's only a slight lead.

The KY Blood Center says Kentucky has 1,419.

Tennessee has 1,332.

The annual blood drive helps make sure there's a sufficient blood supply for Kentuckians during the holidays.

Anyone who donates will receive a long-sleeve, Big Blue Crush t-shirt and a coupon for a McDonald’s McCafe’ beverage.

The crush competition runs through Friday.
