Kentucky Cares Fundraiser A Success

The Kentucky Cares Drive held by several media outlets in Lexington last week raised more than $90,000, according to the Bluegrass Chapter of the American Red Cross.

A phone bank was held last Wednesday, and a collection drive was held outside the Fayette Mall Thursday and Friday.

The Red Cross said out of fundraising drives done by surrounding states like Ohio, Tennessee, and Indiana, the Kentucky Cares Drive was the most successful.
