Kentucky Bourbon Trail Unveils New Smartphone App, Website

The goal of both the app and the redesigned website is to help visitors plan, coordinate, and enjoy their Kentucky Bourbon Trail experience.
The Kentucky Bourbon Trail is celebrating its 14th birthday by unveiling a new smartphone app and redesign of the website.

They include GPS directions, tour hours, digital check-in capabilities for the passport program, information about local attractions and restaurants, a virtual shelf to keep tasting notes for sampled bourbons, and facts about making America's only native spirit.

Eric Gregory, president of the Kentucky Distillers Association, said the goal of both the app and the redesigned website, is to help visitors plan, coordinate, and enjoy their Kentucky Bourbon Trail experience.

Adam Johnson, director of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail tour said the application is the gift that keeps on giving for people who have already visited the distilleries because of features like the
