Fuel prices are up again.

Triple A says the national average of $3.86 a gallon is up for the 12th day in a row.

Here in Lexington many drivers are seeing prices of $3.89 a gallon.

The average cost is still 25-cents a gallon below the all-time high from July of 2008.

Economists say that gas prices so far don't seem to be affecting consumers.

They point out that retail spending rose nearly 1% in each of the last two months.
