What a meet, for Keeneland!

The track says it set several records as it says farewell to departing president Nick Nicholson. More people turned out for the 15-day meet than any meet in the track's history.

Here are the numbers: the total attendance was more than 269-thousand people. That's an average of almost 18-thousand a day. Both are records.

More than 40-thousand were there for Toyota Blue Grass Stakes Day, Saturday, April 14th. That's a one-day record. And on that day, more than one-point-nine million dollars was wagered. That's also a record.
