Keeneland Fall Meet Opens

Horse racing returned to the Bluegrass Friday for the opening day of the Keeneland Fall Meet.

Thousands came through the turnstiles to see some of the best thoroughbreds in the world race.

This season Keeneland is offering new features to enhance race fans' experiences at the track.

The track has its own smartphone and tablet app. which is free to download to all mobile devices.

If you like to tailgate out on the Hill, you will find that now you can watch all the races out there from a giant projector screen.

Keeneland also has a new "craft beer tent" where local beers are featured including West Sixth and Country Boy.

The Fall meet runs until October 26th.
