KY Wood Expo Coming to Masterson Station Park

Organizers announced the dates for this year's Kentucky Wood Expo at an event at McConnell Springs today.

The Expo will take place at Masterson Station Park in Lexington on September 20th and 21st.  The event will feature chainsaw sculpting, and live lumberjack competitions includeing sawing, pole climbing, log rolling, and axe throwing.  Organizers say there will be over 100 exhibits at the Expo, along with craft and food booths, music, and educational displays.

The Expo is open from 9am-7pm on Sept. 20th, and from 8:30am-4:40pm on Sept. 21st.  Adult admission is $7 at the gate, and $5 in advance.  Children 6 to 12 can get in for $5 both days.  Children younger than 6 are admitted free.  Tickets are available at http://www.kywoodexpo.org.
