KY School Named "America's Best High School"

Carol Martin Gatton Academy of Mathematics and Science in Bowling Green has been named "America's Best High School " by the website The Daily Beast.

According to the website, 100% of students in the school graduate, and 100% go on to college. The average ACT score for students is a 32.

Nineteen schools in Kentucky made the 2013 list of America’s Best High Schools, including Lafayette at No. 1,488 and Henry Clay at No. 1,904. The 2013 list ranked 2,000 public high schools based on graduation rates, participation in college-level classes via Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate programs, and acceptance into a two- or four-year college.
