KY Lawmaker Wants To End Election Day Alcohol Sales Ban

One lawmaker wants to change that.

State Representative Arnold Simpson of Covington tells the 'Kentucky Enquirer' that he wants to end the ban.

He says Kentucky and South Carolina are the only states that still do it.

Simpson says restaurants can lose thousands of dollars a day, because of the ban.

And he says the state loses tax revenue as a result.
