Governor Steve Beshear was on the receiving end of 15,000 postcards.

'The Kentucky Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty' organized that campaign.

It's asking the Governor to stop signing death warrants.

The Coalition wants Kentucky to join other states that have ended capital punishment.

Kentucky has executed three people since the death penalty was reinstated in 1976.
