As Central Kentucky families stay home to try to keep warm, the Kentucky Blood Center said it's losing donations.

The center said Thursday it had lost several hundred donations because of drives that had to be cancelled.

And there are fears the drop in donations will get worse.

KBC said starting Friday, donors will get a 'Big Blue Slam' t-shirt.

Donors will also have the chance to win an SEC Tournament package.
