New numbers show Kentucky added more than 21,000 jobs in 2011.
New numbers show Kentucky added more than 21,000 jobs in 2011.

The Office of Employment and Training calls it substantial and says Kentucky clearly made strides in recovering from the recession.

There was job growth in trade, transportation, utilities, education, health, manufacturing and leisure and hospitality sectors.

But there was a net loss of jobs in construction and information.
