KSU Mourns Loss Of Former Student-Athlete

Kentucky State University announced on Monday that former track and field student-athlete Emmitt Brown had passed away.

The Gainesville, Florida native was a member of the KSU indoor and outdoor track and field teams from 2004-06.

"Emmitt was a great person who worked hard on and off the track," said Head Track & Field Coach Von Smith.  "He will be thoroughly missed by all of us at Kentucky State.  We send our thoughts and prayers to the family."

Brown graduated from KSU in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
