KSP Officer Involved In Car Accident

A Kentucky State Police Officer was involved in a car accident early this morning.

According to a police report, Trooper Anson Tribby was on patrol in Mt. Sterling, when his car was hit by a pickup truck being driven by David Walters.

Walters was arrested and charged with reckless driving, wanton endangerment and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Police say Walters was brought to the Montgomery County Detention Center.

The case remains under investigation by Sergeant Jeff Lewis.
