KSP: Man Shoots Wife Then Turns Gun On Himself

State Troopers are still trying to piece together the details on a shooting in Rockcastle County that left one woman in the hospital and a man dead of an apparent suicide.

KSP said the incidents happened in Livingston around seven thirty Monday morning.

Troopers say they found Rhonda Baker in her home on Red Hill Road with a gunshot wound.

She was flown to UK Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators say the shooter was her estranged husband Roger Baker.

They said he ran into the woods nearby the home.

Troopers said he ran into a wooded area nearby and was found dead from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Kentucky State Police are still investigating.
