State police are investigating a shooting in Lebanon, where they say a man was shot while sitting on his own porch.

Deputies say 45-year-old Mark Mattingly was sitting on his front porch on East Martin Boulevard around 7:30 Monday night when a man came onto the porch, shot him several times, and ran away.

He was sent to the hospital and was in stable condition as of Tuesday morning.
