KSP: Carter County Reserve Sheriff's Deputy A Convicted Felon

State Police said they arrested a Carter County Reserve Sheriff's Deputy after receiving a report that he was a convicted felon carrying a firearm.

Investigators said convicted felon Tracy J. Dickerson, 61, of Grayson, carried a firearm while performing his law enforcement duties.

State Police said Dickerson was working for the Sheriff's Office for approximately a year and a half.

Investigators said Dickerson was suspended following his arrest.

He was lodged in the Carter County Detention Center.
