Kentucky State Police Captain David Jude, a native of Ashland and resident of Paris, is the new Commander of the Academy Branch in Frankfort.

Captain Jude will serve in a dual role by administering daily operations for incoming cadet classes at KSP Headquarters while also overseeing the Academy renovation project, a multi-use facility located on 320-acres off of Coffee Tree Road in Frankfort.

Captain Jude is a 13-year veteran of KSP and his assignments included the Dry Ridge Post, KSP Academy and most recently the Public Affairs Branch.

Prior to KSP, Jude served 5-years with the Lexington Police Department.
