KSP: 1 Stabbed & 1 Shot Multiple Times in Owsley Co.

State Police are currently investigating a stabbing and shooting in Owsley County. They tell us a woman was stabbed and a man was shot multiple times Thursday afternoon.

It happened around 3PM at 2119 KY-HWY 708. Investigators said 28-year-old Joshua Hensley of Booneville assaulted his wife, Andrea Hensley with a knife. According to KSP, Jason Reed of Booneville tried to help Andrea leave the home when he was shot in the back. Joshua Hensley is accused of shooting Reed.

Andrea was taken to Kentucky River Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. It was unknown how serious Reed's injuries were.

Joshua Hensley was arrested and charged with two counts of first degree assault, four counts of Wanton Endangerment and Criminal Trespassing. He has been taken to the Three Forks Regional Jail.
