KBC Kicks Off Big Blue Slam Blood Drive

The Kentucky Blood Center kicked off it's Big Blue Slam blood drive today.

The blood drive pits UK Wildcats against the Florida Gators.

Officials at KBC say the winter weather has caused many blood drives to be cancelled, so donors can feel good about representing UK, as well as replenishing the blood supply.

Donors will be given a free Big Blue Slam T-shirt, and will be entered to win a ticket package to the SEC tournament in Atlanta.

You can participate in the blood drive by going to the following locations:

Singletary Center for the Arts
Monday-Friday
10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

WT Young Library
Tuesday
2 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Friday
10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Ralph G. Anderson Building
Wednesday & Thursday
9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Johnson Center
Thursday
1 p.m. - 8 p.m.
