K.O.R.E Academy was named the winner of the 'Kids Can Hunger' food drive by God's Pantry.

40 elementary schools in the county took part in the drive. Together they raised more than 57,000 pounds of food, worth an estimated $95,000. K.O.R.E raised more than 600 pounds alone with only 31 students that attend the school. The contest is based on how many students attend the school in comparison to amount of food that was donated. God's Pantry said it would be able to stock its shelves for more than a month with all the donations.

K.O.R.E Academy will receive a $1,000 donation from Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky for winning.
