UK Basketball Player Julius Mays visited kids at Kentucky Children's Hospital Wednesday afternoon.

Mays said it was an honor to be invited to come to the hospital to spend time with the young ones.

"I just had a daughter of my own, and so to see some of these kids that have been put in unfortunate situations they weren't asked to be in, or to see them here fighting for their lives, and for me to just be able to come in and put a smile on their face it's a good feeling," said Mays."

Mays also had some words of advice for Louisville player Kevin Ware who broke his leg earlier this week. He said Ware should keep fighting, and stay mentally strong.
