Fire stations in Bell County are in the middle of a battle, and it's not against flames and smoke.
Two branches are set to close because of financial trouble, and Judge-Executive Albey Brock is asking a federal judge to stop it.
Brock says closing the stations puts people's lives at risk, but an attorney says the other stations can serve the whole county.
