LEXINGTON, Ky. - ABC 36 sat down with Kentucky head football coach Joker Phillips, who said being the underdog is nothing new to him.

Many predictions pick the Cats to suffer a third straight losing season under Phillips.

Phillips said he's never been a favorite in his entire life.

Phillips asked, "How good is it to be the guy that gets to fight through all this mess, that everybody calls a mess, all this junk, and rise to the top?"
