Joe Bieschke: Everlasting Legacy

Although Joe Bieschke's life was cut short, he's still living in the hearts of many.
Even though it was over 25 years ago, the Joe Bieschke finish is one that will never be forgotten.

After cancer took the life of Joe in 1986, his family continued his legacy.

Each year, the Bieschke family presents three students from Lexington Catholic and St. Paul with a $1,000 scholarship, and one student with the Joe Bieschke award.

Saturday, recipients over the last twenty-eight years, all gathered together.

"I really appreciate that people still come out and remember what they received," said Christina Lyster, Joe's sister.
