Jenna Day Crowned Miss Kentucky 2013

Jenna Day was crowned Miss Kentucky 2013 Saturday night at the Singletary Center for Arts in Lexington.

Day is a Louisville native currently attending the University of Kentucky.

She will compete for the title of Miss America in Atlantic City this September.

Day competed against 31 other women in the areas of interview, swimsuit, talent, evening gown, and on-stage question.

For her talent, Day sang the song “And This Is My Beloved.”

She’s the daughter of Daniel and Leslie Day. Her platform is “Improving the Lives of Special Needs Children.”

Before becoming Miss Kentucky 2013, Day was Miss Berea Area.

1st runner-up was Kiley Shuffett, 2nd runner-up April Reinle, 3rd runner-up Laura Jones, and 4th runner-up was Alison Lovely.

The Miss America Organization is the largest scholarship provider for women in the world.
