The 2012-13 UK basketball season is set to start in just under a week.

Big Blue Madness will surely be a welcomed event by Solid Blue fans.

One of the fan favorites on this year's roster, junior guard Jarrod Polson.

The Nicholasville, Ky. native has won over the Big Blue Nation the past couple of seasons with his dancing and YouTube entertainment via videos with fellow team members as part of the WBA and "The Goonies."

But Polson doesn't just see himself as a fan favorite who gets cheered for when he gets in games.

In fact, he plans on playing this season, and not just cleanup time.

And if basketball doesn't work out?  Polson got a plan for that too.

Check out the video to hear more from the UK guard as he preps for this year.

And make sure to check out all of our Solid Blue coverage as we gear up for another title run by the Cats...as we profile the team leading up to Big Blue Madness!
