Jarrett's Holiday Store Open for Business

A young man's legacy lives on, at the Kentucky Children's Hospital.
Jarrett's Holiday Store is open for business at the Kentucky Children's Hospital.

Jarrett Mynear was a cancer patient who started Jarrett's Joy Cart in 1999. He delivered toys to other patients at the hospital, and earned nationwide fame in the process. He died a few years later, but the cart continues to roll. And each December, a holiday store opens for one week, also at the hospital. It provides toys for patients, for free.

Jarrett's mother, Jennifer Mynear, says she made a promise to her son to keep the program going. She says she can't imagine ever stopping.
