Inmates and law enforcement officers at the Boyd County Detention Center are being tested for tuberculosis after an inmate tested positive for TB on Wednesday.

An Ashland-Boyd County Health Department Spokesperson told The Independent they will give nearly 300 people TB skin tests.

The inmate with TB, who’s identity was not released, is being treated in isolation at a hospital.
