It is a big weekend event that will put some familiar faces on the ballroom floor.

Lexington's Dancing With The Stars competition is Saturday, May 12.

ABC 36's own Christine Winter will be putting on her dancing shoes, and ABC 36's Tom Kenny will emcee the event.

The dance event benefits Surgery On Sunday, an organization that performs free procedures on those who wouldn't be able to get the care otherwise.

Last year, the event helped the Rotary Club get $80,000. For more on the local dancing event, click HERE.
