Temperatures are hovering in the upper 70s to near 80 degrees this afternoon with sunshine, and eventually, some increasing cumulus clouds.  A weak cold front will drift south from Ohio and Indiana later today, sparking some isolated thunderstorms.  The best chance for a brief thunderstorm will be near and north of I-64, after 4 or 5 PM.  Most of the showers and thunderstorms will fade away a few hours after dark.  Temperatures will fall to near 51 tonight, and Thursday will be seasonable with partly sunny skies and highs around 76.  Thursday and Friday will be dry across most of central Kentucky, but isolated showers and potentially a stray storm will remain possible in far southern Kentucky, closer to the stalled front.  The weekend will be warm with highs in the lower to middle 80s and very isolated, almost random, late-day thunderstorms, triggered by the combination of heat and humidity.  Thunderstorms will become a little more likely late on Monday and especially on Tuesday as a disturbance approaches from the west.
