Isolated Rain Tonight, Then Warming Friday

Isolated Rain Tonight, Then Warming Friday

Central and southern Kentucky could see a few isolated showers this evening, but the warming trend continues Friday!
Midnight Update: Nearly all the wintry mix has come to an end at this time and will completely end by 1 a.m. Friday. The only areas that could still see any rain or snow now are areas west of Danville and Somerset.

Temperatures have fallen into the upper 30s in most areas and should only fall into the mid 30s by morning.

Enjoy the great weather Friday afternoon!

Central and southern Kentucky will get clipped this evening by some light rain showers to our west which could have a few wet snowflakes mixed in. By midnight, everyone will be dry. Skies will begin to clear some by morning, but it won't be as cold Friday morning. We will only drop into the mid 30s.

Warmer air will push in from the south through the day Friday, allowing temperatures to climb to near 60° in Lexington and into the low 60s in southern Kentucky. We will see a mix of sun and clouds through the afternoon.

Rain moves in late Friday night into Saturday and will continue on and off through the weekend. The wet weekend will also bring some cooler weather.
