Another set back for what used to be the Kentucky Kingdom Amusement Park.
Another set back for what used to be the Kentucky Kingdom Amusement Park.

The corporate partners who are trying to get it reopen again say the park is in bad shape.

They say most of its attractions need to be completely refurbished for safety, and it may not reopen until 2014.

The park used to be owned by Six Flags and was closed two years ago because of bankruptcy.

New investors signed a 50-year lease earlier this year to run the park.

They had originally hoped to reopen it as early as next year.
