Inmate Walks Away From Blackburn

An inmate walked away from Blackburn Correctional Complex on Monday night, prompting a search by authorities.

Billy Rose, 36, was reported missing from the minimum-security prison at 9:43 p.m.

According to the prison, Rose was serving a 15-year sentence for convictions out of Pulaski County, including burglary, robbery and trafficking a controlled substance.

He would have been eligible for parole in April of 2016.

Rose is described as 6'1, 275 pounds with brown hair and green eyes. He also has multiple tattoos, the most visible looks like a bird and is on his left hand, state police said.
