Around 11:30 Thursday morning, officials at the Woodford County Detention Center said one of their inmates had walked away from a work site.

According to the Detention Center, Andrew Reeves, 25, was working at the Kentucky Department of Transportation Garage off of Cross Field Drive when he escaped.

Woodford County High School was put on lockdown as a result.

Reeves began a five-year sentence for criminal mischief and receiving stolen property on April 3. He would have been eligible for parole in November.

Anyone with any information on Reeves' whereabouts is urged to call the Versailles Police Department at (859) 873-3126.
