Injuries Lead Police To Robbery Suspect

Frankfort Police responded to a burglar alarm at Red Dot Liquors in Frankfort early Wednesday morning.

They say they got to the shop around 4:00 and noticed that the glass front door has been broken by a piece of concrete.

A short time later, officers found a man on Commanche Trail who was sweating and bleeding.

They say their investigation led them to believe the man, 25-year-old Jerry Smith, was responsible for the crime.

Officers say they recovered the property that was stolen from the store, arrested Smith, and put him in the Franklin County jail on burglary charges.
