The Fayette County Coroner said Monday that the death of an infant is now being investigated as a homicide.

According to the coroner, 29-day-old Caz G. Hazuga II died in November of blunt force trauma.

Investigators said his father, Caz Hazuga, admitted to police that he had hit his son’s head against a counter top.

In an interview from jail, Hazuga told ABC 36 that police pressured the confession out of him.

He is still being held in the Fayette County Detention Center.
