The Anderson County Sheriff's Office says they're looking for suspect who were seen illegally dumping sewage into a creek that flows into the Kentucky River.

The state EPA spent most of Tuesday cleaning up the contaminated area.

The Anderson County Sheriff's Office says they've had trouble with people dumping in the creek for years because it's along a gravel road in a rural area.

The Anderson County Sheriff's Office says if anyone saw the suspects or has any information to call the Sheriff's Office immediately.
