Disappointing to say the least.

Kentucky Derby and Preakness winner 'I'll Have Another' won't race in Saturday's Belmont Stakes.

The decision ends horse racing's shot at its first Triple Crown winner since Affirmed in 1978.

Swelling in 'I'll Have Another's' left front leg was discovered and diagnosed as the beginnings of tendinitis.

For that reason, the horse's connections decided to scratch the winner of the first two jewels in the Triple Crown.
