The Fayette County coroner has released the identity of a woman killed in a house fire in Lexington.
Kimberly Poncer, 54, died of smoke inhalation.
The fire happened just after 11 p.m. Thursday at a home on Copper Run Boulevard. Investigators say the fire started at the back of the home, but they don't have much other information. The victim's husband was taken to the hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.
One firefighter suffered minor burns and another suffered an ankle injury. Officials tell that the woman who died may have been physically handicapped, making it difficult for her to escape.
